Adiyodi Vakeel Smaraka Tagore Vidyapeetam, founded in 1992, is run by Adiyodi Vakeel Smaraka Educational Trust, a nonprofit charitable organization. The trust was formed as a tribute to the distinguished Vidyadata Swargeeya K.V. Gopalan Adiyodi. The trust is inspired by the ideals and objectives of Hindutva and dedicated to promoting Bharatheeya Vidya, amalgamating the best of our rich culture and heritage, tempering it with the latest trends in science and technology. Affiliated to CBSE New Delhi, the school is closely associated with Bharatheeya Vidya Niketan.

Location & The campus
Located near Temple gate, within Thalassery Muncipality, it is a lush green backdrop over 3 acres, away from air/noise pollution, easily accessible by road from Thalaserry town and suburb areas. The calm and serene atmosphere is highly conducive for proper mental and physical growth of the students
The campus spread over 3 acres of land, provides play grounds, recreation areas, canteen, library, science laboratories, computer lab, mathematics labs etc
The staff

Teaching Methodology
The environment set for teaching and learning are much impressive at Tagore. It also goes in line with the guidelines of CBSE and hence much superior child centric teaching methodology. Teachers scaffold the slow learners with additional classes.
Curriculum
The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi [Affiliation No 931208] and provides education from Preschool to Grade 10. The curriculum followed is as prescribed by the CBSE and the medium of instruction is English. The educational material used is approved by NCERT.
